About Studio 33

Style by Studio 33, LLC is a styling and creative production house operating at the intersection of sport, fashion, and culture. Founded by former professional basketball player Adrianne Ross, the studio was built on the belief that fashion is a strategic form of communication—one that defines how athletes, brands, and executives show up in the world before they ever speak. The name “Studio 33” is a meaningful nod to Adrianne’s basketball number, a reminder that the discipline, creativity, and resilience she learned on the court are the same values that shape the work done here.

What began with roots in women’s basketball has grown into a broader creative practice serving clients across industries and levels. Our perspective is shaped by sport, but not limited by it. We understand how image influences opportunity, how presentation builds confidence, and how fashion can move culture when done with intention. That belief guides everything—from individual styling sessions to full-scale productions and visual campaigns.

At Studio 33, fashion is identity, narrative, and strategy. We build looks and stories that feel authentic, refined, and culturally aware. We take pride in creating spaces where clients feel seen, supported, and elevated, whether they’re athletes, executives, teams, or brands.

Our heart will always honor where we come from, but our vision is expansive. Studio 33 exists to help people and organizations sharpen their presence, refine their message, and show up with the confidence of knowing they look the part—and genuinely embody it.

The Team

Adrianne Ross

Creative Director & CEO

Adrianne Ross is the founder and creative force behind Studio 33. Born and raised in Hobbs, New Mexico, she built a decorated basketball career that includes two All-American honors, a TCU Hall of Fame induction, a Western Conference Championship with the San Antonio Silver Stars (now the Las Vegas Aces), and a decade of international play. After retiring, she dedicated eight years to mentorship, camps, and community-driven initiatives—continuing the impact she’d made since her earliest days as an athlete.

A defining influence in Adrianne’s journey was her late mother, Tammy Ross. Tammy was her grounding force, her example, and the one who encouraged Adrianne to step fully into her creative spirit. Before her passing in 2019, Tammy urged her to “let your spirit shine,” giving Adrianne the clarity and confidence to pursue fashion with purpose. That encouragement became the catalyst for Studio 33. The studio’s name, its intention, and its heartbeat all reflect Tammy’s impact.

Today, Adrianne’s creative work has been featured across the WNBA and with brands such as Adidas and Playa Society. She has also partnered with various collegiate athletic departments, including TCU, LSU, and SMU. She leads with bold vision and quiet confidence, merging sport, style, and culture with an eye that is both instinctive and refined. Her influence continues to grow, carrying forward the legacy her mother helped spark.

Shaye Smith

Director of Operations

Shaye Smith is the operational backbone of Studio 33, bringing clarity, structure, and strategic discipline to the business side of the company. Also from Hobbs, New Mexico, Shaye attended Adrianne’s basketball camps nearly 15 years ago—never imagining their paths would realign in this way. She later attended Texas A&M University, where she earned two engineering degrees, a business minor, and spent one year with the women’s basketball program before competing in water polo for five years. Her senior year, the team finished fifth in the nation. She is currently earning her MBA.

Shaye built a career in high-level project management before joining Studio 33, known for her precision, dependability, and forward-thinking problem-solving. She’s motivated by both sides of the studio’s work—the operational discipline that keeps everything running smoothly and the creative energy that fashion brings. Her personal style leans toward fly, edgy streetwear, giving her an intuitive feel for the culture Studio 33 lives in. As Director of Operations, she translates big ideas into organized, actionable systems and ensures the studio’s vision is backed by a strong, scalable foundation.

Steady, pragmatic, and driven, Shaye brings a balanced blend of structure, style, and ambition to Studio 33—powering the mission that began in the same small hometown she and Adrianne share.
